Flightcheck Commercial Aviation Services Acquires KTI, Adding to Line Maintenance Platform

Bensenville, IL (December 15, 2023) – Flightcheck Commercial Aviation Services, a leading provider of aircraft line maintenance, ground handling, and de-icing services, announced today that it acquired Keenan Technical Industries (KTI).

Founded in 1990 by Andrew Keenan, KTI provides outsourced aircraft maintenance services to airline operators at Bradley International Airport and Manchester-Boston Regional Airport. KTI is recognized for its outstanding customer service and highly trained aircraft maintenance mechanics.

Bensenville, IL (April 15, 2022) – Flightcheck Commercial Aviation Services, a leading provider of aircraft line maintenance, ground handling, and de-icing services, announced today that it acquired the line maintenance division of Boxell Aerospace.

Founded in 2006 by Lance Syner, Boxell Aerospace’s line maintenance division provides outsourced aircraft maintenance services to airline operators at Charleston International Airport, Savannah/ Hilton Head International Airport, and Hilton Head Island Airport. Following the transaction, Boxell will continue to operate its aviation products division.

Flightcheck is proud to announce our maintenance agreement with Hainan Airlines at O’Hare International Airport.  They have been the recipient of the SKYTRAX 5-star airline designation for 9 consecutive years. They are currently operating a 787-9 Dreamliner with GEnx-1B engines four days a week.

Flightcheck is proud to announce the inaugural flight of Air New Zealand at O’Hare International Airport. Flightcheck will handle the technical maintenance operation for Air New Zealand. It will be operating a Boeing 787-9 three days a week. This is the first non-stop flight to Chicago from Auckland, New Zealand.

Flightcheck Gains GCAA Approval in Support of Etihad’s B777-300ER Operation in Chicago


Flightcheck will perform certified release to service (CRS) for Etihad’s daily B777-300ER operations. GCAA approval was hard earned and we are very thankful to the GCAA regulators for recognizing our operation as a quality provider.

Flightcheck’s Rockford IL Operation Continues Its Expansion


Flightcheck has recently added additional staff to support Amazon’s increased uplift into Rockford. Flightcheck currently provides scheduled maintenance and defect rectification for Air Transport Services Group subsidiaries ABX Air and Air Transport International (ATI). Both subsidiaries operate Boeing 767 Freighters.

 

Las Vegas Maintenance Ops Completes B737MAX Training to Support WestJets Introduction of their New Fleet in the Spring of 2018


Westjet recently conducted B737Max technical training for Flightcheck’s Las Vegas line technicians. The current plan is to introduce the Max from Calgary to Las Vegas routes starting next spring.
